Not surprised by the stats regarding lower-priced homes.

As a young couple who moved to WA at the height of the housing bubble and who did not own a home before moving here, my husband and I found it impossible to get anything decent in our price range. Now that prices have come down significantly, we along with many other young couples are hitting the housing market, and are finding ourselves spoiled for choice.

Although the 8K tax credit has definitely been an incentive which prompted us to look for homes, the biggest incentive thus far has been price, particularly with so many pre-foreclosures around.
