We are right in the thick of this same situation. We had our inspection and it revealed that the a/c is busted and the electrical is messed up and there is a leak in one of the bathrooms. Our agent submitted a request for them to fix the a/c and the breaker box but they are taking a long time to respond. I don’t know if that is a good sign or not. Thanks for this post.

Hi, Kevin. I agree so much about how home inspection is very important and crucial when buying a house. This is one of the deal-breakers because we can assess the inspector's findings if we're getting our money's worth on the home we want to buy. A homebuyer should carefully study each of the home inspector's results and from there, manage necessary adjustments like who will fix the problems found, consult with the seller, or make any changes with the contract. Three years ago I bought this house in Minnesota. I was able to get a good home inspection (St. Paul, MN) company which walked me through with the process.

My relatives are currently looking for best house deals there in the Seattle area, so I wish they can also get a reputable home inspection company.
